Very fast paced and action packed. This movie sets itself apart from the X-men franchise. High octane filled and lots of constant battle and moving imagery.

This film has a very different tone from other X-Men films. Logan is much darker but the story is a fascinating one. Logan's care of Professor X is complicated and moving. The story is intriguing and without giving too much away, is a solid telling of these men later in life.

This movie was so great.

Loved the interactions between Logan and the little girl. I appreciate a film that ties up loose ends, but provides a " to be continued" ending.
A very good film.

Logan is first and foremost another chapter in the X-Men comic book series of popcorn movies, but it is also one of the best Western films I've seen made in recent years. Unlike any of its predecessors, it has a quiet elegance about it. While there is still plenty of gripping action, it is filmed with great care and the cinematography is gorgeous.

Dark, gritty, dark, violent, dark and... surprisingly heartfelt. There is also a black & white version which adds an interesting noir-like twist to the film.

OK X-Men/Wolverine film. Violent and darker than most in the series.

The best of the Wolverine trilogy and probably the best of the X-Men movies as a whole. Logan gets everything right about making a 'good' movie. It doesn't spend time on character origins. The villian isn't trying to take over or destroy the world. The threat to the main character is personal rather than indirect. It's one of the best 'superhero' movies I've seen in years, if you can really call it a superhero movie. It has far more in common with a classical western movie. Every actor in it did an amazing job, and the story has as many moments of triumph as it does bittersweetness.

The only faults of the movie have nothing to with the story. The timeline for this movie could be a bit confusing to people who have seen any of the other X-Men movies. The shortest explanation given by the director is that Logan takes place after the rebooted timeline that occurs during the epilogue of Days Future Past and X-Men Apocalypse. Things go badly for the X-Men after that movie, and without spoiling, the results are the world of Logan.

Some fans of the PG-13 X-Men and Wolverine movies may have been unnerved by the harsh language, excessive violence and deaths in the movie. It helps to point out the original source material (Old Man Logan, and the X-23 comics) had even more gore and violence. Likewise, most of the X-Men have been killed off many times during the course of the comic book runs, including Wolverine. Also, this isn't the first R-Rated Wolverine movie. The second movie, 'The Wolverine', had an R-rated director's cut edition released to blu-ray which was far better received than the theatrical cut.

Like Deadpool, but without the humour. I liked this movie, but it was ULTRA VIOLENT. Like people getting stabbed through the face by claws that come out of the back of their head violent. The story was good, and being a Marvel fan, I did enjoy this movie, however, if you aren't comfortable with EXTREME violence, I would avoid this film. I would also not let children watch it. It is so violent that I hope that the girl who was in it being violent, doesn't watch it until she is no longer a child. It is Rated R for a reason.

Wolverine and X-men is a great franchise, so you should most definitely watch them, it should be very exciting and fun. Many people ask the question do I have to watch the previous Wolverine and X Men movie to watch this, I say it will be more interesting and easier to understand to watch Logan but it is not required. Logan follows the Old Man Logan story, which is kind of like the Dark Knight Returns to Batman, a great story about an older hero, but it's set beyond the regular Universe they're in. The movie keeps you excited most of the way through but I did not think many people were satisfied with how the movie ended, which I personally think takes a big hit on this movie series. Especially considering the fact that this will very sadly be the last movie in the X-Men and Wolverine series. Overall I would rank this movie a four out of five stars.
