One of the worst herb books I have ever read. The conclusions from the studies cited were ridiculous and biased. Clearly the author doesn't have a good grasp of natural herbalism and keeps trying to treat herbs as if they were synthetic medications. I highly recommend authors like Rosemary Gladstar, JJ Pursell, Samuel Thayer, Matthew Wood, and Stephen Harrod Buhner.
