Solid effort from Deaver though not his best. The leaps from evidence to action are somewhat tenuous at best and the effort to tie up all loose ends is a little tedious especially when that ends up connecting to the original plot.

Great read with very satisfying conclusion and lead in to next novel. Rhyme is depicted as a bit more arrogant than I remember from previous novels but will be interesting to follow character development as he recuperates some of his hand function.

An intriguing plot - some surprises. I was somewhat disappointed - not his better works and a flat ending - suggesting a follow-up book.

A good mystery that keeps you guessing and going the whole time while worrying about the characters.

I found myself just skimming through the last one third of the book. It certainly isn't one of Deaver's best works.

Another classic Deaver. With fewer charts and more interwoven intrigue,

Not a bad read but certainly not Jeffery Deaver's best.
