"When I feel like I'm going mad I write. A lot of my worst fears have come true; fears that felt so big I could barely hold them in my head. I was convinced that when they'd happen, the world would end. But the world didn't end. In fact, it pushed on and demanded to keep spinning through all sorts of mayhem and I got through it. And because I persisted, I learned lessons about how to be a stronger, kinder, better human, lessons you can only learn by going through these sorts of things. This is for the people with minds that just don't stop, for those who feel everything seemingly a thousand times more than the people around them."--Back cover

I read this book at the library one afternoon as I used to be a big fan of Dodie back in 2015. It is a lovely collection of stories about her life, old journal entries and lyrics. I know I'm not the target audience for this since I'm Dodie's age but I really enjoyed some of the stories, particularly Luna (the first one) and the story about Dodie meeting someone at the airport (I think that was called Cornflakes and Champagne).
Some of them were a bit... filler? and it's obvious that the editor didn't give the book as much criticism as it needed (grammatical errors in published books make me so annoyed).
The rating I'm giving (2.5) is more of a personal rating but if I was the target demographic or still watch her videos I'm sure I would rate it more of a 3.5-4 and I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of her.
