This episode of the Green Interview features Michelle Maloney, a lawyer and National Convenor of the Australian Earth Laws Alliance, an organization she co-founded in 2011 to carry out research and education that furthers the understanding, development and practical application of &́#x80;˜Earth jurisprudence&́#x80;™ and &́#x80;˜wild law&́#x80;™ in Australia. She is also the Australian representative on the Executive Committee of the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature. Inspired by the work of Thomas Berry and Cormac Cullinan on &́#x80;œEarth jurisprudence&́#x80; and &́#x80;œwild law,&́#x80; an emerging philosophy of earth-centred law aimed at supporting our planet rather than destroying it, Maloney embarked on her own journey as an advocate. In 2014 she co-edited the book, Wild Law &́#x80;“ in Practice, which is the first book of its kind to focus specifically on the practical legal implications of Earth jurisprudence..
