Adrienne de Simone is tumbled out of modern-day Seattle into Scotland year 1513. She soon finds herself married to Hawk, the Laird of Dalkeith.
Hawk has never met a woman who could say "no" and is thrown through a loop with Adrienne. For her part, Adrienne's had her heart broken by a handsome man and vows never to trust any good looking male again.
As the two begin to fall-in-love neither realizes this is all a game for the fairies. And like any game, once it's no longer fun it has to end.
Adrienne and Hawk were a fun couple to watch battle wits. I thought the story was good up until they admitted their love for each other. They held out for so long that when it's finally out in the open they then have to battle the big evil.
To anyone that enjoys time-travel romance or Scottish heroes I would definitely recommend checking out this book or any other by Karen Marie Moning.
