Solid plotting. Interesting presentation of the super computer taken to the next step...or,perhaps taking the next step.
This is only my second Lincoln Child novel and I will be reading more. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys good plotting, intrigue, believable characters, and a "what the heck..." ending.
not well written
wouldn`t read this author again
It was entertaining but the big "surprise" at the end is really no surprise at all. I felt like I was reading the script for a made-for-TV movie, and not necessarily a very good one
Great read - as usual Lincoln Child does not disappoint
Techno-thrillers are everywhere these days, and Lincoln Child brings his own unique view and writing style to the sub-genre with Death Match - where online dating becomes an even more scary prospect. While some of us may dream of the day that a computer can simply tell us who our Mr. or Mrs. Right is, Child scares us with what could happen if that goes wrong. Fans of Child won't be disappointed, and techno-thriller lovers should give this a try; the personal aspect with the online dating is more evolved and leads to a more realistic techno-thrill ride!
Good premise, but it's far longer than it needs to be. If the author had just summed up, this could have been a good techno-suspense story.
Computer nerds everywhere should read this. The future???
