By helping people identify the languages of apology, this book clears the way toward healing and sustaining vital relationships. The authors detail proven techniques for giving and receiving effective apologies.

It's extremely easy reading. There are many practical stories that help tie it in to one's own experiences. The five languages of apology all seem realistic, if not always easy to put in to practice (although there are plenty of ideas of how to do that, too). One can go on to Gary Chapman's website and do a self assessment quiz to figure out one's own apology language or style.
