I'm on the second book. I understand the need to keep throwing her together with a certain male, as she needs a love interest. I find the reasoning poorly done. So far his resources/tech. skills don't help much. In the first book his gadgets/weapons/connections mentioned are superior to her employer. He's suppose to be a rich, powerful business man. They only use him for his muscle power. If this continues I won't continue with the series.

I love the characters of these books. You can't help but like Riley and how she just can't help but stay out of trouble.
