Ooh-la-la! - I'd say that this book's title "The Bikini Book" pretty much says it all. 'Cause, believe me, that's exactly what this compact pictorial-history of 400 pages is all about - The Bikini.

The creation of the bikini swimsuit is actually quite an interesting one where in 1946, 2 French clothing designers stripped away everything legally possible and (leaving just the bare essentials) initiated a phenomenal beachwear sensation that still flourishes to this very day.

(Gee! I wonder why?)

So - If you wanna catch a glimpse of some of your favorite celebrities of the mid-to-late 20th century (both male and female) posing in skimpy bikinis that leave nothing to the imagination (nudge. nudge. wink. wink), then "The Bikini Book" will (Indeed) provide you with plenty of pure "eye-candy" delight from start to finish.
