I know how Mike felt and as much as I wanted to blame Xanadu for putting her through all that emotional torture, how could I expect Xanadu to understand? Straight people just don't get it. I just wish the whole book wasn't taken up with all that wasted effort. I wish Mike had found another love interest along the way. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad she made peace with her fathers death and I'm glad she finally was able to move on from her crush/obsession with Xanadu and I'm glad her and her brother were finally able to talk and understand each other but I really wanted Mike to find love. I had even had hopes that she would have made a connection in Colorado when Jaime met up with Shawn but nope. That whole thing about Mike not being able to find love left me feeling empty by the end of the book. But other than that. The book was a good read. Would I read it again? Maybe not but that's only because I know Mike doesn't find love at the end. That is really important to me, that the main character of the story finds love. I need a happy ending (with love!)

The main character, Mike, is one of the most beautiful characters I've ever read!
If there were ever one like her, I'd kill for her.
The author forced me to dream about Mike instead of having one!
Speaking from a girl's point of view, I wouldn't mind having her for a girlfriend!
I'm a girl!
Amazing book!

Sounds really good! I like how it's about things that can actually happen in real life!

This book was ok. It was a good to read before going to bed, but it wasn't a page turner. I like Julie's books though. I wouldn't read it again though.
