A really good second book in the series.

Hoping this book would shed some insight onto the characters and such, it does not. I was very excited to read this book only to become disappointed.

The book has many flaws: the thoughts of the characters do not stand out, the love story is such a joke, and characters such as Molly, Alyss, Dodge, and others are simply flat characters.

I was hoping I could add this book to my personal library yet seeing how I loathe this book, I think I will pass. It is a page-turner; however, if you know the basics of creative writing, the major flaws of the book will enrage you.

I loved this book! It was an amazing sequel to the first book and left me hanging at the end so I had to get Arch Enemy right away!

The sequel to The Looking Glass Wars has more story and less of a rushed feel. Still has major problem with the book is the contrast need to give us the sound effects of every action from the guns to the walking. And the characters need to not blend into one another and stand on their own strengths and flaws. Too many stories lines going on at once give the book something more then just filler, but leave you wondering about the the actually weight of Alyss and her companions, even the love story seems strained and stall. The only worthwhile character is the introduction of Vollrath and Sacrenoir.

I love this series. I have always been a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland, and this spin was both interesting and creative. Not quite as good as the first book, but the ending is intriguing, indeed. Can't wait for Archenemy!

I couldn't finish it. Nowhere near as good as the first one.
