A brilliant and hillarious parody of classic Jane Austen. A zombie in posession of brains must be in want of more brains...

Quite a lot of fun, and I think, easy to pick out where Grahame-Smith added stuff. I am not a huge Jane Austen fan, but this has encouraged me to go back and have another look at the original book.

I too love Jane Austen and zombies, but I cannot believe that someone actually made money by inserting zombies at random into the plotline of Pride and Prejudice. You'd think that an infestation of zombies would be a major plot point. You'd be wrong. There was no continuity; you had the original text, a few zombies popped up out of nowhere sporting a radically different writing style, and then the original text resumed.

If you find Jane Austen boring, then you will find this book boring - 90% of the text is the original book and the zombies don't play a major role. If you love Jane Austen and think zombies are cool, this book will ruin both for you.

I was very disappointed. I love Jane Austen. I love Zombie books. But put them together in this pitiful literary attempt and I was bored. Aside from taking a book and just adding in a few different parts, the action sequences are pathetic and cheesy at best.

Not worth the time I spent reading it.

I was only able to read the first few pages. Even with the addition of zombies I still can't read (or stand) Jane Austen.

If you like zombies, and who doesn't, give this a try but don't expect anything fast paced. It is basically a short version of Pride and Prejudice but with zombies...
