Something From the Nightside combines overt references to Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler with urban fantasy. Detective John Taylor returns to Nightside, an area of London that isn’t on the map and where it’s always 3 am, in search of a runaway girl. Conflicts along the way lead to a thunderous climax and a satisfactory conclusion to the first novel in this series. It’s a quick read being both simply written and engrossing. I look forward to the sequels.

Fun, fast and unique.

There's nothing quite like the nightside novels. Green has created an entertainingly dark alter-world that just makes sense. If you haven't tried the NIghtside novels, you're missing out.
