This book was a very quick and enjoyable read. The subtitle 'A Sexy Mystery" says it all. If you love the Stephanie Plum series, you'll love Carlotta Wren. This is the sixth in the Body Movers series. To be fully appreciated, I would suggest the books be read in order. The plot and characters in this book are continued from books four and five. I was totally caught off guard when the Charmed Killer decides to make Carlotta his next victim and even more surprised to find out which man comes to her aid. Carlotta has three men vying for her attention- Jack, Peter and Coop. Loved the surprise character development of Mouse in this book.

Carlotta Wren works at Nieman Marcus, moonlights with her brother Wesley as a body mover for the morgue, and has a penchant for inserting herself into murder investigations. Carlotta had moved in with ex-fiancé Peter for safety reasons after a serial killer was rampant in the city. This move doesn't sit well with Detective Jack Terry, who has bedded her more than once. When ex-medical examiner and current body mover, Cooper Craft is arrested as the Charmed Killer, Carlotta, ever the loyal friend, seeks answers to prove him innocent. Along the way, Wesley gets deeper and deeper involved with drugs, Carlotta becomes a little jealous over Jack's gorgeous new partner, and Peter is hoping to woo Carlotta into saying 'I do'.
