Add a CommentI love this story. My daughter doesn't yet understand the full story plot but she loves pointing out the alligators and doing the 'achoooooo' at the end.
A wonderful read-aloud that is perfect for older preschoolers/younger elementary. This is an "ugly duckling" style story, but with a more gentle take. A satisfying ending and effective language throughout.
A cute cautionary tale about assumptions, fitting in and finding your place in life.
My new favourite! A big hit at storytime. Wonderful illustrations and great story too. A winner!!
