This is a pretty good "aliens-in-Earth's-past" story, something which I believe was relatively rare in the Classic Series. I wouldn't call it a favorite (pacing tends to be pretty slow), but the villain is suitably intense, he has a cool android, and there's a great funny moment when Adric and Nyssa have to materialize the TARDIS without the Doctor.

Having never seen any of the original BBC Doctor Who series, I didn't know what to expect. Sure the costumes and special effects are antiquated compared to any DW series produced in the 21st Century, but the story and the acting are so incredibly good, it doesn't matter. I would recommend this title to any Doctor Who or sci-fi fan, just because it's great fun!
