I'm very glad that Dr. Dauphin wrote this book. It gives us a glimpse of what our military is doing overseas, from the inside, and the effects of war at a very individual level. I agree with the review above that the editing should have been much stronger. Nevertheless, Canada is engaging more and more in armed conflict around the world, and I think it's important for us understand what that means. Books like this one can help us to do that.
