This is my first read of a Christopher Reich book. And I very much enjoyed it. Loved the Wall Street and big money investment firm info tied in with the overall plot.
Yeah, he doesn't have all the Canadian info right, but Ill give him a pass on this, till his next novel. LOL!

Far-fetched and formulaic yet entertaining thriller. Hedge fund manager and his FBI agent wife save western civilization from Chinese hegemony. Just another day at the office.

In the first few pages, an international conspiracy is shown to be so powerful, it seizes (remote) control of a Secret Service vehicle on the White House Grounds and Cabinet members die (improbably... the author seems to have forgotten the vehicle was supposedly 'armoured'). The conspiracy has successfully gotten past the NSA, CIA, FBI, and Secret Service.

But don't worry... it will be defeated by... wait for it... A HEDGE-FUND MANAGER.

If you can read this drivel, I admire your ability to suspend not only disbelief, but every shred of common knowledge and common sense.

So, Kitchener-Waterloo International Airport is located 100 miles east (yes, east) of Toronto. No wonder missed my flight. However, flying abroad, I will be ready to deal with the Royal Canadian Immigration Service upon my return. Strange, never noticed them before manning airport inspection counters. Christopher Reich exposes his cluelessness about this neck of the woods. For an American author, par for the course. Ditto the editors. This novel is over-the-top, jingoistic, headline hype. Nothing 'outside the box' here.

Another page-turner by Reich. It would have helped if I were more knowledgeable about the stock market. However, this didn't take away from an action-packed and intriguing story.

Superbly done. Fast paced. Good action. Hard to put down.
