Meet Matthew Garwood - the man with the tattoos, the man who wowed a TV audience at his appearances on the third season of The Voice. 'The Tattooed Tenor' includes Garwood's 'hit' song "All I Ask Of You", which he performs as a duet with rising New Zealand star, Toni Gibson. The album also plays home to the classic ballads of all time, among them Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" and equally to the classic crooners, among them Nat King Cole with his "Smile". There are songs about falling in love instantly - "Some Enchanted Evening" - and heartbreak - "Send in the Clowns" - and songs like "All By Myself" that embody the sometimes lonely life of a performing artist. And one of Garwood's personal favourites, "Beautiful City" from the musical Godspell, based on Biblical tales that surrounded Garwood as he grew up.
