A brillent book, insightful, personal and practical. Beautifully written, it so easy to read because of the balance between facts, analysis and real life stories. It's a helpful book which I've learnt a lot from. I cannot recommend highly enough.

His Reith Lectures are based on the book and are also wonderful - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/6F2X8TpsxrJpnsq82hggHW/dr-atul-gawande-2014-reith-lectures
