Well, he's a snappy dresser," I offered. One side of Fang's mouth quirked.”
“You were designed to be very smart, Max,' she told me. 'We electrically stimulated your synaptic nerve endings while your brain was developing.' (The director)
And yet I still can't program my DVD player,' I said." (Max)”
“They [Erasers] were bad fliers," Angel chimed in, "And in their minds, they weren't all kill the mutants, like they usually are. They were like, remember to flap!”
“Max, you're the last of the hybrids who still has...a soul.' ... 'She doesn't have soul,' Gazzy scoffed. 'Have you ever seen her dance?”
“I can talk to fish!" Angel said happily, water dripping off her long, skinny body. "Ask one over for dinner," Fang said, joining us.”
“They turned to Angel. "We will call you Little One," the leader said, obviously deciding to dispense with the whole confusing name thing.
"Okay," said Angel agreeably. "I'll call you Guy in a White Lab Coat." He frowned.
"That can be his Indian name," I suggested.”
“Fang: 'Man, You weigh a freaking ton! What have you been eating, rocks?'
Max: 'Why, is your head missing some?”

Add a SummaryIn the fourth book, The Final Warning, the Flock flies out of a government meeting set up to decide what the government officials think is best for them. Later, they go to Antarctica at Jeb Batchelder and Dr. Valencia Martinez's request, where a team of scientists needs their assistance in studying ocean pollution level. There they fight an international organization led by the Uber Director, who intends to auction off the Flock to corrupt leaders of foreign countries to be used as weapons and/or mercenaries. When Angel, Total, and Akila go after a baby penguin in the midst of a blizzard, they trap themselves inside some type of chasm. Max and Fang begin to worry, and head off to find them. Once they are all together, they are forced to take refuge inside a hole-cave to keep safe because of a monstrous blizzard. In the midst of this, the Uber Director's team finds them and captures them along with Nudge, Gazzy, and Iggy. They are taken to Miami. The Flock defeats the Uber Director in the midst of a hurricane and makes their escape. Meanwhile, Total grows wings of his own and falls in love with Akila, an Alaskan Malamute. Max and Fang kiss a few times, and Max starts to acknowledge her feelings for him even more than before.
once again another book about max and her flock, the action was good, romance was fine (total and akila!)... but the UD? he just sat there and died... he didn't do much or cause much harm... he was just trying to sell them but failed really bad~ kind of anti-climatic.. but since I have already read 4 of there book (finished Max and is now on Fang) I want to finish it just to see what happens.. don't you just cringe when Fang is around another girl? To bad she ended up being... :The book continues the adventures of the six part-bird children Max, Nudge, Iggy, Gazzy, Fang and Angel but this time, they aren't running from dastardly corporations or scientists. Instead, they are enlisted by a group of scientists, including Max's genetic mother, Dr. Martinez, to participate in an expedition to Antarctica -and help save the world. and this book is awesome.

I know these books are geared for the young adult, hate to admit but I am way past that. I still am really enjoying them.
Great Book, and lots of action
Too bad Ari dies. It would be interessting to see Ari in the rest of the story. He was just a poor seven year old who got no love from his parents. Stupid Jeb.
okay it was a good book although with all the global warming stuff I kind of felt like I was in school, bor-ing. but it was still very interesting. now that I'm finished I can go onto MAX, but I've heard some bad reviews good thing I have FANG booked ahead of time, look at me! I'm being smart.
I liked Fang's blog.
