Includes a chronology, references and an index. The author is a Jesuit priest and lawyer, who has written extensively on Aboriginal land rights. He was made an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for services to Aboriginal Australians as an advocate in the areas of law, social justice and reconciliation. His other publications include 'Sharing the Country' and 'Too Much Order With Too Little Law'.
