Jules Verne was definitely ahead of his time and this novel is purely science fiction at one of its bests. The plot develops even up until the end and keeps you on your toes! You might want to read "20 000 Leagues Under The Sea" first because this book does reference it.

I loved it, it has everything except the girl the heroe falls for. A little sci- fi feel, but a surprise ending.
