A good spy thriller and suspense story with a female spy as the main character. It reminded me a bit of the Twilight series with one female and two male main characters.

I enjoyed this book having a strong female lead character. In so many spy/intrigue books, such as Bourne, males are the main focus. I did not like the Daniel character. He seemed too naïve and weak. I was hoping Alex, or whatever name she was using, would end up with Kevin. I enjoyed their character interaction much more than Alex and Daniel.

Was a pretty good book with a interesting plot, just was a little long and started slow.

I am an avid reader, and have enjoyed Meyers other books as quick fun reads - but The Chemist totally stumped me. I could not make it past page 50. The story was too convoluted and stuffed with unnecessary detail. Skip it.

I found the cat and mouse opening too formulaic to hold my attention. I finally quit. I've read her other books so that was sad for me.

Very different than the Twilight series. It was intriguing though it did start a little slow. Definitely not what I was looking for from Meyer. A chilling story.

I found this read difficult to get into until it started to pick up around Chapter 15-16. I agree with the comments about the details being just too much. I have to say that the plot was fairly easy to figure out. Saw the twin thing coming from a mile away. I wish there had been more twists in the plot. I did like that at one point the main character wrestled with the fact that she was so busy preserving her life that she really wasn't living one. Therefore, was all the effort of life preserving worth it? Not my favorite book, but a decent read.

Interesting story. Enjoyed the first 200 or so pages, and then the author forced a love story. Hard to believe this is the Twilight lady. Not the best, but entertaining.

Not one of Meyer's best works.. I found the characters to be extremely obnoxious and the plot really fell flat. Once the romance started, the plot of the main characters running for their lives didn't seem to matter anymore. The romance wasn't even very good, the book became excruciatingly boring from that point on.

Decent read, however annoying the detailed pieces of information - both useful and useless - were.
