Hmm...I really enjoyed this one, I thought the writing was crisp. Maybe geared more toward a younger hip crowd, but I am older and thought it much better than most films.

I wouldn't call it a comedy but it's not a total waste. I enjoyed seeing the charactors realize that they need to change and grow. I enjoyed seeing Patrick Stewart's character suffer up there on top of the building in the cold wind and nearly fall off!

For some reason I thought this was going to be a comedy. I was sorely disappointed. There were too many stories going on and not enough time to develop the characters. The worse part was Patrick Stewart's lines; just pitiful. As for the photographer guy with the single girl in the elevator, he should be charged and put on a predator list. I was waiting for him to attack the poor girl. I had to stop the movie after 50 mins because I couldn't waste another minute of time hoping for something salvageable.

Poor acting. Worse story. Even worse dialogue. Little to no emotional impact, just a mixing of tired, used-up Christmas/family stories mixed together and spit between groups of people stuck in elevators across the city. I hoped for so much better from this collection of actors.

On the crass end of the scale.
