At the climax of the last series, audiences were left reeling as Spector, critically injured in a devastating ambush, lay bleeding in the arms of Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson. Moments before, the intense and single-minded investigator thought she had her man; now, shocked and desperate, she's losing him. Bringing a killer to book is going to take much more now than simply catching him. In the emotionally charged aftermath of the shooting, Gibson's personal journey to exact justice for the victims' families must begin with the blood-soaked fight to keep Spector alive. As the Fall reaches its inexorable conclusion, it's clear that the rules of this deadly game of cat and mouse are set to shift once again.

Good story. Too bad Gillian had no facial expressions. Too bad they ran out of story and had to drag scenes out to fill up the time.

Really good. This series is right up there with all 3 seasons of Broadchurch which for me sets the standard. Finally, Gillian Anderson was allowed to be a cop and not forced into a contrived love scene. Glad to see there will be a Series 4 although it will be very different without Paul Spector. Looking forward to see where it goes. Oh, any thoughts on why the Jim Bush character is such a whiny, sad wimpy guy? He has been that way in all 3 series.

on the edge of your seat season! I couldn't see what was coming next but I loved every minute of the ride that I had to re-watch it. I think some of the characters should have been phased out in this season but Gibson/Anderson in the last episode Wow!

Interesting that Gibson/Anderson was such an unlikable character -- I think it made viewers care less, detracted from drama.

A fine fitting to the end of a series. It is not as quickly paced as the first two and at times plods along more than needed. Did not like the unexplained issue with the chief and his drinking and thought that was not taken far enough..why?. Although I think many will guess what is going on in the rest of the characters it still packs a good punch.
