Fashionable out-for-blood film about a female's perspective on a possible assassinated boyfriend. Oh, and Paula's (played by actress Anna Karina)expensive mod hairstyle is the focus point through the action, stillness, and communications in the film about the search for her boyfriend--she has more of a hairstyle than most of the others, and she does not let herself become marginalized because of it--empty but violently ridiculous. I did find this film sometimes boring.

You do get the feeling of near-end Godardian cinema with "Made in USA" as his marriage to Anna Karina began to fall apart. Godard also made this film WHILE shooting another film. There is definitely less to it than all of his previous works.

Richard Stark/Donald E. Westlake fans beware! This is an artsy-fartsy surrealistic French art film which says it is based on "The Jugger" by Stark, but the similarity totally escapes me! A bunch of odd froggies walking around in a small apartment with no furnishings, talking nonsense. AVOID!!!

I don't even know, but Anna Karina is in it so here's a 3.5/5. Something, something politics.
