A few months ago, when both of my teenage daughters decided to become vegans, I was concerned about how they would get the nutrients they needed from a solely plant-based diet. Furthermore, I wanted to understand the ethical reasons for their choice to eliminate meat from their diet and to locate resources to ensure the family would be eating tasty, nutritious meals. The Logan Libraries catalogue has a great variety of books associated with veganism. Here is a selection of cookbooks, guides to meat substitutes, manuals for healthy vegan living and answers to ethical and health questions about veganism.
